We are looking for a Catering Assistant to join our friendly and supportive catering team at Berkswell Church of England Primary School, Church Ln, Berkswell, Coventry CV7 7BJ. Working 10 hours a week, Monday - Friday, Term Time only, this role could be ideal to fit in around your caring responsibilities.
You will assist with serving our healthy award-winning meals, made from locally sourced, high quality ingredients, whilst ensuring levels of hygiene are maintained within the kitchen. Your duties will include:
- Basic food preparation
- Preparing counters and the dining room for service
- Operating the cashless till system
- Cleaning duties
You will need a Level 2 Food Safety qualification or be willing to complete and pass it within your first 12 months of service. You will also have experience of delivering excellent customer service and working as part of a team. Good communication skills, enthusiasm and self‑motivation are also essential, to ensure we continue to deliver our catering service to the high standards we are proud to have achieved.
