Bar Staff

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry while ensuring our guests enjoy a memorable experience. Previous restaurant or bar experience is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Duties

• Serve drinks and organise orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests
• Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems
• Restock supplies and ensure all stock levels are maintained throughout shifts
• Assist in setting up and clearing tables as needed
• Manage multiple tasks effectively during busy periods, demonstrating good time management skills

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or food service is desirable but not essential
• Knowledge of food safety standards and licensing regulations
• Excellent serving skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively during busy hours
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
• Good communication skills and a personable attitude towards guests
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• A person who is reliable, punctual, and eager to learn about the industry

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 35 per week
