We are looking to appoint a diligent Finance Assistant to join our busy finance department based at the Blossomfield Campus. This is an excellent opportunity to work within an FE College that boasts a turnover exceeding £57 million and is recognised for its exemplary financial management.
The Finance Assistant will play an essential role in the smooth running of the Management Accounts Team. Working alongside a team of experienced professionals, you will benefit from comprehensive on-the-job training and gain a wide-ranging understanding of finance within the further education sector.
Applicants should have completed AAT Level 4 or possess an equivalent ACCA/CIMA qualification. Proven experience in a management accounts position is required, alongside strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel. An enthusiasm for working with and developing the department’s finance systems will be considered an advantage.
Strong communication abilities and a drive to progress will be vital for building effective working relationships throughout the wider organisation.
