Solihull College & University Centre is seeking a passionate and preferably experienced Hairdressing Technician for our Blossomfield campus to support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning in our Hairdressing department. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting both staff and students in our state-of-the-art salons.
You will assist in preparing equipment, materials, and resources for practical sessions, while maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised salon environment. During practical lessons, you will provide technical support and help monitor stock levels, assisting with the ordering of supplies as needed. Under the guidance of teaching staff, you will support students in developing their practical skills, ensuring that health and safety protocols are consistently followed.
To be successful in this role, you should hold a relevant qualification in Hairdressing (minimum Level 2) and have recent experience working in a salon or training environment.
