Basis Salaried Full Time

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join our growing team at Solihull College and University Centre. Based at our Woodlands Campus, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning within our Motor Vehicle department, which is at the forefront of preparing students for careers in the rapidly evolving automotive industry.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to share your expertise and passion for mechanics while contributing to the development of the next generation of skilled technicians.

You will undertake the demonstration of key skills in the workshops whilst also supporting and monitoring students during their practical activities, you will also undertake general duties associated with the stores and the maintenance of tools and equipment in the area.

Candidates must hold a Level 2 qualification in a relevant Motor Vehicle discipline. Holding a Level 3 Assessor qualification would be an advantage. Recent industrial experience in a Motor Vehicle workshop setting is essential.
