This includes:Moving and handling assessmentsProvision of equipment and assistive technologyRecommendations for minor and major adaptationsTechnology Enabled Care solutionsPromoting independence through a least restrictive and person-centred approachOur vision is simple: to support people to live as independently as possible, for as long as possible.About the RoleAs an Assistant Team Manager, you will provide day-to-day leadership, support and supervision to a team of Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants.Working alongside the Principal Occupational Therapist/Team Manager and fellow Assistant Team Managers, you will help ensure the delivery of a high-quality, responsive and outcome-focused service.Key responsibilities include:Providing professional supervision, support and performance managementSupporting staff development, wellbeing and learningOverseeing case allocation and workflow managementMonitoring and promoting high-quality, strengths-based practiceLeading service improvements and contributing to innovationSupporting operational decision-making and service deliveryEnsuring statutory responsibilities are met effectively and consistentlyWorking collaboratively across health, social care and partner organisationsThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting others, driving improvement and leading practice excellence.About YouYou will be a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist who is committed to delivering high-quality services and supporting others to thrive.You will have:Diploma, BSc, or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy.Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).Substantial post-qualification experience within Occupational Therapy services.Experience of supervising, supporting or developing staff, or acting as a Practice Placement Educator.The demands of the job mean that you need to hold a driving licence and own your own vehicle.
