About the Team As a Presales Consultant you will become part of the EMEA Presales team built to strengthen our capability to support ongoing sales opportunities. You will work alongside Sales Executives/Account Executives to provide required software solutions expertise in all phases of the sales process, from first contact with a lead to the conversion of such lead to an active customer. You will cooperate closely with the Sales Team, Product Managers, Professional Services Teams and Marketing.
About the Position A Presales Consultant will be an integral part of our sales processes, supporting the Sales Team with product and solution expertise in a highly customer-facing role with the goal of maximizing the rate at which leads and opportunities convert to customers of Solifi. The geographical scope is the EMEA region, with main focus on the UK and mainland Europe. This role can be based from London, Milton Keynes or UK remote.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead engagements with new opportunities, identify and articulate customer challenges and opportunities, and map our solutions to create differentiated value propositions to convert opportunities to sales.
- Support sales opportunities from qualification to closure by joining sales meetings, presenting solutions, and planning, executing and following up on demos and workshops with relevant experts.
- Support sales team in internal opportunity/account reviews.
- Interface between Clients, Sales and Product to interpret, articulate, organise and prioritise market requirements and ensure they are reflected in product roadmaps.
- Increase precision in offers to include the relevant solutions and services to facilitate buying.
- Respond to functional and technical sections in RFIs and RFPs.
About You / Qualifications
- Proven work experience in Presales or a highly customer-facing role supporting Sales and/or Product Implementations with responsibilities including product demonstrations and training, with a focus on customer value.
- Understanding of the Secured Finance space (e.g., Auto Finance, Equipment Finance, Working Capital).
- Experience documenting Presales activities in the process of converting opportunities to closed deals; able to manage bid teams through RFIs/RFPs.
- Ability to articulate product suites into client business value and drivers relevant to their circumstances and processes.
- Experience supporting marketing activities, creating/reviewing content for campaigns and events, and contributing to strategic marketing initiatives (new geographies or product markets).
- Ability to juggle multiple sales opportunities and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Preferred: knowledge of tools such as Salesforce, PowerBI, Loopio, Confluence, Consensus, MS Office; bi-lingual (German preferred).
