Salary: £13.98 - £16.10 per hour inclusive of 10% Shift Allowance, Dependant on Skills and Experience
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: Weekly rotating shift pattern
- 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday
- 2pm to 10.30pm Monday to Thursday
- 1pm to 6pm on a Friday
What are you going to do:
- Learn & Operate machines in accordance with our Skills matrix.
- Punnet Making, Die Cutting, Folding Gluing and Printing.
- Inspect and manage the machine to guarantee the production of high-quality products.
- Understand various job needs by learning different job types and assessing the needs of each job.
- Maintain production quality by inspecting all produced materials carefully to identify any errors and correct them.
- Ensure that equipment is always in good shape and liaise with the engineering team for repairs.
- Inspect all equipment and materials to ensure that they are not in shortage.
- Operate machinery such as Die Cutter, Folder Gluer or Printer.
- Set machines for a wide range of customer products.
- Monitor and fine-tune machine running speeds to maintain efficiencies.
- Report to Team Leader / Engineering Team any tooling damages or upgrades required.
- Perform weekly routine maintenance cleaning down machine following BRC hygiene requirements.
- Learn and operate other process lines & machines when requested.

- Die Cutting operating experience advantageous (Training will be given).

- BRC Food safety - HACCP understanding or experience advantageous (Training will be given).
