SOLIDLUX is expanding, and we’re looking for an experienced Solid Surface Fabricator to join our growing workshop team. If you have experience working with Corian®, solid-surface materials, or recycled surface products such as Polygood®, PaperStone®, Smile Plastics® or Foresso® — and take real pride in producing high-quality work — this is an excellent long-term opportunity. You’ll be involved in the fabrication of bespoke solid-surface components for a wide range of exciting commercial, retail, hospitality, and residential projects. This is primarily a workshop-based role, with occasional site work when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabrication of solid-surface worktops, islands, furniture, and bespoke components
- Thermoforming, finishing, polishing, and assembly to a high standard
- Reading and working accurately from technical drawings
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
- Collaborating with the wider team to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional results
- Problem-solving and contributing to custom fabrication solutions
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience working with Corian® or similar solid-surface materials
- Experience with recycled and sustainable surface materials such as Polygood®, PaperStone®, Smile Plastics®, or Foresso® is highly beneficial (training can be provided)
- Confident working independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality finishes
- Ability to work efficiently within a team environment
- Good problem-solving skills and practical workshop knowledge
- CSCS card beneficial but not essential
- Commitment to safe working practices and maintaining workshop standards
Working Hours
- Mon–Thu: 7:30am – 4:00pm
- Fri: 7:30am – 3:00pm
