gap personnel are recruiting for a 3.5t Van Driver to join a dedicated service team in Exeter, Devon. This is a hands-on, rewarding role that makes a real difference to people's lives by providing essential healthcare equipment to support independent living.
Responsibilities
- Delivery, installation, collection, servicing, and repair of community equipment in people’s homes, care homes, schools and hospitals across Devon.
- Equipment ranges from walking frames and crutches to hoists, beds and pressure care products.
- Carry out minor home adaptations such as installing handrails and grab rails where needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
- Full UK driving licence (held for at least 2 years, no more than 6 points).
- Ability to load and unload goods – some items may be heavy.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic DIY skills (advantageous for home adaptations).
- Previous van driving experience beneficial.
- Flexibility to be part of a same day and out-of-hours rota, including some weekend cover.

- 08:00am – 6:00pm (Tuesday–Saturday).
