Location – Hybrid based in West Yorkshire

With nearly a century of expertise, they provide research-driven design and end-to-end project delivery for elite UK and international venues such as Wimbledon, Qatar and Australian Stadiums.

We’re looking for a Senior Sports Design Technician to lead the technical design of world-class sports facilities using Revit and AutoCAD Civil 3D. You will manage BIM workflows, coordinate detailed drawing packages and mentor junior staff while delivering innovative solutions for elite global venues.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the technical design and development of sports facilities from grassroots to elite venues
  • Producing, reviewing and coordinating detailed drawing packages, including plans, sections and technical schedules
  • Managing and supporting BIM workflows, model coordination and quality control through Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
  • Working closely with project leads, engineers, architects and external consultants to ensure design compliance
  • Providing technical guidance and informal mentoring to junior technicians and graduates
  • Attending site visits to understand grounds and space; travel may be national or international

Experiences required:

  • High proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit on live projects
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architecture, civil engineering or sports surface design
  • Strong understanding of surface systems, substructure engineering, and field-of-play technologies (drainage, irrigation, turf systems, etc.)
  • Proven experience coordinating BIM models and documentation using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with high attention to detail and a passion for sports
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
