CNC Operator Permanent Full-Time

Join a high-end, rapidly growing bespoke furniture, cabinetry, and architectural joinery manufacturer. Managing premium projects across both residential and commercial sectors, they operate from a modern, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Combining advanced HOMAG CNC machinery, beam saws, and edgebanders with cutting-edge CAD software and traditional craftsmanship.
Due to heavy investment across their manufacturing and design teams, we are looking for a technically sharp CNC Operator proficient in setting and running 5-axis CNC Machine Centres (ideally HOMAG P110, V310) and Beam Saws (HOMAG B300).
Responsibilities, but are not limited to
- Operate, set up, load, and unload CNC woodworking machinery safely and efficiently according to production schedules
- Set up and run 5-axis CNC Machine Centres (ideally HOMAG CENTATEQ P110 and DRILLTEQ V310) and beam saws (ideally HOMAG SAWTEQ B300) for panel sizing and complex component machining
- Read and interpret production drawings, cutting lists, machining documentation, and works orders
- Select, install, and replace appropriate tooling, cutters, and CNC programmes provided by the CNC Programmer
- Monitor machining operations and measure finished components to verify compliance with drawings, tolerances, and quality standards
- Carry out routine machine inspections, daily maintenance checks, and housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean work area
- Identify and report machining defects, programme errors, or tooling faults promptly
- Collaborate closely with Design, CNC Programming, Bench Joinery, and Production teams to support overall project delivery
- Comply strictly with all Company Health & Safety policies, machine operating procedures, and safe systems of work
Experiences required
- Proven hands-on experience setting up and operating 5-axis CNC Machine Centres and beam saws
- Direct experience operating HOMAG machinery (specifically P110, V310, or Beam Saw B300) is highly desirable
- Confident in reading technical joinery drawings, cutting lists, and production paperwork
- Competent in CNC tooling selection, cutter changes, and routine machine maintenance
