We are looking for a highly skilled Revit Specialist to develop a library of parametric furniture models (BIM). Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality, parametric Revit files for a range of height-adjustable and fixed-height desks and meeting tables.
- Develop Revit models for task and meeting chairs with editable fabric parameters for user customisation.
- Build intelligent accessories (screens, cable trays, cable chains) that dynamically expand or adjust based on desk dimensions.
- Ensure all models allow users to adjust widths, depths, and heights within specified min/max ranges.
- Apply core colour ranges and finishes to frames and surfaces using high-resolution reference images provided.
- Provide final deliverables in Revit format (including legacy versions) and 3D DWGs for AutoCAD compatibility.
Experiences required:
- Expert-level proficiency in Revit family creation and BIM modelling.
- Strong understanding of parametric constraints and 'stretchable' geometry for furniture components.
- Experience working with 3D DWG imports as base files for Revit modelling.
- Background in the furniture, fit-out, or specification industry is highly desirable.
- Ability to work to a strict deadline (CDW delivery).
- Knowledge of industry standards for A&D and Dealer specification files.
- Must provide own Revit license.
- Must provide own CAD workstation.
