About Us

At Steatite, we design, manufacture, and supply advanced technology solutions - from industrial embedded computing and custom lithium battery packs to secure communications, antennas, and imaging systems. Our innovations operate in some of the world’s most demanding environments. From the ocean floor to the edge of space, Steatite technology ensures critical systems perform reliably, consistently, and safely - 24/7. Whether enabling scientific discovery in extreme conditions, transmitting high-bandwidth data across challenging terrain, processing vast volumes of traffic data, or supporting secure transactions on the move, our solutions are built to perform when it matters most. From day one, you will be part of an organisation that prioritises your safety and wellbeing, values your contribution, and is committed to making your career both rewarding and impactful.

Are you someone who understands both the physical movement of stock and the systems and data behind it? Steatite Antennas is looking for a Warehouse Systems & Inventory Specialist to take ownership of stock accuracy, inventory integrity and digital traceability within our specialist engineering and manufacturing operation in Leominster. This isn't simply a stores or warehouse role. You will work across warehouse operations, inventory processes and ERP/WMS systems, helping us improve how stock is controlled, tracked and managed as the business grows. We currently operate EPICOR, including WMS functionality, and are developing a new Microsoft ERP solution with enhanced WMS integration. You'll play an important part in strengthening today's processes while helping shape how we work in the future.

What you will be doing:

  • Owning and improving stock and inventory processes across the site.
  • Driving greater stock accuracy and inventory integrity.
  • Ensuring stock movements, locations and WIP are digitally recorded and fully traceable.
  • Using EPICOR and its WMS functionality to maintain reliable, audit-ready inventory data.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of our new Microsoft ERP/WMS environment.
  • Managing cycle counts, reconciliations and root-cause analysis of discrepancies.
  • Maintaining and improving barcode/QR-based stock tracking.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve warehouse flow, systems, controls and processes.
  • Working closely with Operations, Procurement, Engineering, Project Management and Finance.

What we are looking for:

You will have proven experience within stock control, inventory, warehouse systems or stores management, ideally gained within manufacturing or engineering. You will also need practical experience using a WMS or ERP-integrated digital stock-management system, with a good understanding of inventory data, stock reconciliation, digital tracking and warehouse processes. Experience of EPICOR isn't essential, strong ERP/WMS experience and the ability to learn new systems is more important. Experience within electronics, aerospace, defence, RF or another technical manufacturing environment would be advantageous, as would exposure to Lean, Six Sigma or 5S continuous-improvement methodologies.

What will success look like?

During your first 12 months, you will establish clear benchmarks and deliver measurable improvements in stock accuracy, inventory integrity, digital traceability and warehouse processes, while helping prepare the business for its future ERP/WMS environment.

Why join us?

Steatite Antennas designs and manufactures specialist antenna technology used in demanding applications around the world. This is an opportunity to make a visible impact on a growing business and help shape an important part of our operational capability. You will also have a Personal Development Plan, with opportunities to develop not only within Steatite but across the wider Solid-State group as your career develops.

Benefits For You:

  • EV Salary Sacrifice Scheme
  • 26 Days Annual Leave Plus Bank Holidays + More For Length of Service
  • Pensions Plan
  • Company Sick Pay Scheme
  • Life Assurance Scheme
  • Profit Share Scheme
  • All Employee Share Plan
