The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Operative to assemble computer-based products to high-quality standards. You will build and test systems using technical documentation and engineering drawings, identify and escalate technical issues, and support wider production activities where required. A strong interest in computer hardware — both professionally and personally — is highly desirable for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble computer-based products to defined quality standards
- Interpret technical documentation and engineering drawings
- Identify and escalate build or technical issues
- Support other operational areas as required
- Maintain accuracy, quality, and efficiency in all tasks
Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of computer hardware components
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and applications
- Interest in computer hardware, gaming systems, or custom PC builds
- Knowledge of hardware and software environments (professional or personal experience)
- High level of manual dexterity and practical ability
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
- Ability to learn quickly through training and mentoring
- Organised, efficient, and results-driven approach
- Basic knowledge of BIOS (AMI / Phoenix) or UEFI configuration
- Basic Windows configuration experience
- Understanding of mechanical assembly
- Ability to read technical schematics
- Experience with soldering or cable harnessing (J-STD / IPC-620A desirable)
