Applications Engineer – CAM Permanent Full-Time Salary – Circa £30,000 DOE + £6k car allowance + OTE Location – Hybrid in either Belfast, Dublin, Leamington Spa, Fareham, Aylesbury or Caldicot We are a leading provider of 3D design and engineering solutions, delivering cutting-edge software, expert consultancy, and tailored training services to over 15,000 clients across the UK and Ireland. With a large, experienced technical team, we empower businesses to boost productivity and innovation through advanced CAD and CAE technologies. Due to continued growth, we\’re expanding our Applications Engineering team and looking for a talented individual to deliver training, implement systems, support CNC programming, and advise clients on best practices in metal machining and CAM software. Responsibilities, but are not limited to Delivering training and technical support to our manufacturing clients Advising on best practices in metal machining and software application Implementing systems for new customers Developing custom post-processors to meet client requirements Supporting the commercial team to ensure customers receive the right solutions Conducting product demonstrations Sharing your specialist knowledge to support colleagues across the technical team Occasional travel across the UK and Ireland, including overnight staysExperiences required Minimum 3 years\’ professional experience in CNC programming, setting, or operating for metal machining applications Proficient in CAM software such as SolidCAM, CAMWorks, Delmia, or similar Strong understanding of online programming using G/M code across Fanuc, Heidenhain, Siemens, or Mazatrol controls Experience writing or debugging post-processors for CNC programs Excellent verbal and written communication skills Full UK driving licencePackage 37.5 Hours P/W | Monday to Friday | 9am to 5:30pm | 1 Hour Lunch | 33 Days Holiday Inc.
