As part of my client's operational team, you will play a crucial role in delivering site-based water audits, identifying leaks, and conducting precise meter readings across a varied client portfolio. This is an ideal role for a self-motivated, health-and-safety-conscious individual with great attention to detail who wants to build a rewarding career within a supportive and growing business.
About the Role
Working on-site across various client locations, you will use specialist equipment to accurately pinpoint leaks, assess site water usage, and compile high-quality reports to facilitate necessary repairs. My client will support you with ongoing training to enhance your water auditing skills, allowing you to offer practical suggestions that help clients cut down their water consumption.
Key Responsibilities
- Leak Detection: Use a range of equipment—including C.A.T and Genny, listening sticks, correlators, and ground microphones—to pinpoint exact leak locations.
- Reporting: Complete clear, accurate leak reports to standard, enabling seamless follow-up repair work by my client or their subcontractors.
- Water Auditing: Perform visual site assessments, flow tests, and usage checks to identify high consumption and suggest practical ways to reduce water use.
- Meter Reading: Take accurate, timely water meter reads across client portfolios and update in-house software systems.
- KPI & Safety Adherence: Maintain high safety standards and consistently hit key performance targets set by my client and their customers.
About You
- Experience: Minimum of three years' leak detection experience.
- High accuracy in recording data, notes, and completing written reports.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks independently.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, patient, and tenacious approach to problem-solving.
- Strong Health & Safety awareness.
- Comfortable using operational software and mobile apps (e.g., scheduling and expense management tools).
- Willingness to travel across the UK when workload dictates.
