Job Title: Account Manager (Hybrid role) Location: Chichester PO19 7DN Salary: £35k to £45k d.o.e. plus commission Duration: Full time, Permanent Sector: Sustainability / Environmental Overall responsibilities for the Account Manager: Manage The client’s relationship with customers, ensuring the client’s service is delivered to contract and to agreed SLA’s. Understand the customers’ key drivers and the the client deliverables to recognise opportunities for organic growth. Ensure that customer projects are delivered on time and to budget and that all of the client teams understand the customer outcomes. Key Tasks for the Account Manager: * Manage customer contracts for which you are responsible, ensuring contract terms are met. * Ensure the clients team meet deliverables agreed, responds efficiently to customer requests and that the client service meets or exceeds our customers’ expectations. * Utilise all the client systems to account plan for each customer, with the support and guidance of the Head of Commercial and the Account Directors, as well as from other departments to ensure the expectations set are achievable. * Manage projects effectively including the recording, analysis, reporting and administration of every project from start to finish according to agreed internal procedures and the deliverables agreed with the customer. * Conduct regular customer meetings, to ensure contracts & projects are running efficiently and to report updates. * Meet with the new customer once account has been allocated, prior to handover by Sales and Marketing, and agree deliverables. * Meet with all internal stakeholders to develop an onboarding project plan. * Keep customers informed of progress regularly. Keep in regular contact with every customer for which you are the lead contact, to discuss the contract, market/industry developments, areas for improvement and future opportunities to upsell or expand existing project. * Manage budgets and invoicing process effectively * Communicate with the Finance Team to ensure invoices are accurate and issued in a timely manner and in accordance with each customer’s accounts payable process. * Support the Finance Team where necessary should the client dispute an invoice and assist in aged debt collection if required. * Understand contractual terms and, with the support of the Account Directors, Head of Commercial or Chief Commercial Officer, negotiate terms and deliverables for contract renewals. * Listen to customers to evaluate if there are opportunities to upsell or expand the existing project and work with the Account Directors and Head of Commercial to develop the upsell opportunity with the customer. * Identify when small opportunities may result in larger projects down the line. * Support the Sales and Marketing Team by attending events/conferences. * Supply leads, suggest new market sectors to target and provide customer insight to support with Sales and Marketing activities and plans. * Report regularly to the customer Account Director, Head of Commercial and/or Chief Commercial Officer on progress of assigned tasks, successes, and any potential issues
