Service Engineer – Commercial Boilers Permanent Full-Time Salary – Circa €55,000 DOE Location – Dublin, Ireland Join a well-established, family-run company based in Dublin, with over 60 years of experience in the commercial boiler industry. Specialising in the manufacture, sale, hire, and refurbishment of commercial steam boilers, we are looking to expand our team due to increasing demand for our services. They are seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join their team. As the industry evolves with upcoming regulation changes in Ireland, they require candidates to be RGI certified or willing to obtain certification. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a company known for its efficiency, reliability, and customer-focused service. Responsibilities, but are not limited to Diagnose and repair electrical faults on single/three-phase systems and electrical panels Service and repair burners (Nu-way, Riello, Hamworthy) and manage various fuels (diesel, oil, natural gas, LPG) Install, commission, and decommission boiler systems, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards Perform calibration, testing, and regular blowdown to optimise boiler performance and water quality Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs, addressing both electrical and mechanical faults Respond to emergency callouts promptly to minimise downtime and restore boiler functionality Recommend and implement system upgrades to enhance performance and efficiency Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and testing, providing detailed reports to clients Provide clear communication to clients, offering explanations, recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, always ensuring a safe working environmentExperiences required Level 6 Advanced Craft Certificate in Gas Fitting, Electrical, Plumbing, or Refrigeration Current Domestic Gas Safety (DGS) certificate or ability to obtain one Proven experience in fault finding on electrical panels and hands-on work with single and three-phase electrical systems Familiarity with burners from Nu-way, Riello, Hamworthy, and other leading manufacturers Current RGI certificate is advantageous but will be provided by the company Willingness to travel across Ireland & the UK for emergency callouts Full, clean EU driver's licence requiredPackage 40 Hours P/W | Monday to Friday | 8am to 4:30pm | Varied Weekends | 31 Days Holiday Inc.
