We are looking for a well-organised self-starter with great financial understanding to join our Finance team as a Management Accountant. This role offers a great opportunity for finance professionals looking to progress their careers in a varied role covering all aspects of the production, use and analysis of management accounts.
This role reports in to the Head of Finance and is part of a Finance department of around 15 people. The finance vision is to be a confident and trusted finance service, giving the business the tools, environment and support they need. This role would play a key part in delivering this vision.
In the role of Management Accountant, you will work closely with the Finance Business Partners to provide management accounting services to the SRA, ensuring that financial records and reporting reflect the underlying operations of the business. This is a new role, working alongside an existing Management Accountant.
As well as day-to-day work such as ensuring month-end reporting goes smoothly, you will also lead on improvement projects which may include reviewing funding models and use of analysis codes. Our financial year end is the end of October, and this period is critical for supporting year-end accounting as well as making any necessary improvements for the next financial year.
You'll work collaboratively with the Finance team and wider business.
