Do you enjoy analysing information and providing excellent customer experience? We have an existing opportunity for the right candidate to join a 12 months fixed term contract role as Indemnity Adviser in our Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII) team within Client Protection Department.
The role involves:
- Reviewing requests to disclose insurer details, gathering evidence, liaising with stakeholders, and making rule-based decisions.
- Tracking, monitoring, and supporting firms which have not renewed their professional indemnity insurance.
- Managing the quarterly information exchange and engaging directly with regulated firms to ensure all firms are properly insured.
- Assisting colleagues across the organisation who have queries about professional indemnity insurance.
You will be proactive in nature and possess excellent planning and prioritisation skills to work in a constantly changing environment. This is a great opportunity to gain experience of working with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders. You will enjoy a varied and interesting role where you will work closely and collaboratively with other members of the team.

What we are looking for:
- Relevant qualification and/or significant practical experience of interpreting and applying rules.
- Experience of dealing with queries from the general public (phone and in writing), demonstrating excellent customer focus.
- Track record of delivering results by taking ownership of issues and ensuring successful resolution within set timescales.
- Experience of managing stakeholders to get accurate information from them.
- Pro-active and makes decisions.
- Excellent organising, planning, and prioritisation skills.
This is a hybrid role and will be based in our Birmingham office 1 to 2 days a week, and from home the rest of the week.
