Position Overview

A full-time School Psychologist position is available in the Lancaster, South Carolina area for the 2025‑2026 school year. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns.
  • Interpret evaluation data and present findings to teachers, administrators, and families.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
  • Provide consultation and support to school teams on intervention strategies and classroom accommodations.
  • Engage in the Multi‑Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes.
  • Deliver short‑term counseling or behavioral support services as needed.
  • Assist in crisis response and prevention initiatives.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with professional standards and legal requirements.

Qualifications

  • Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • South Carolina certification or license as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Strong background in psychological testing, behavior management, and educational consultation.
  • Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and other relevant state/federal education regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications
