Desired Skills And Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old (21+ for driving-required roles, with a valid license)
- Eligibility to work in the US
- Successful completion of background check and pre-employment screenings
- Current Colorado or Compact RN license
- Current BLS certification (or within 90 days of hire)
- ACLS certification (or within 6 months)
- PALS or ENPC certification, TNCC, STABLE, and NRP (or within one year)
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- Two years’ hospital experience; one year ED or critical care experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Practice decisive judgment and adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting
- Triage, evaluate, and document patient information accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, handle patient transfer/discharge/referral
- Deliver patient/family education and psychosocial support
- Delegate responsibilities, mentor students and new staff
- Uphold high standards of ethics, safety, and confidentiality
- Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives
