We are looking for a passionate and visionary podiatrist to join our family! Soleus Podiatry is a modern and forward-thinking clinic in the beautiful town of Ilminster, South Somerset. A podiatry presence was established here 18 years ago, growing into a self-contained 4-room facility with our strong Soleus brand in January 2021.
We currently have 3 podiatrists, and a part-time MSK/Sports Podiatrist, with a fabulous support team. Our vision is to build the best podiatry clinic in the South West, which delivers pioneering and proven treatment modalities to make a meaningful impact, and enables us to fulfil our mission to help our community live happy and active lives.
We are working to be an inspirational clinic, and become a hub for student placements and apprentices who will benefit from our wealth of experience. We are already proud of what we have achieved and seek to grow our reputation further, becoming an integral part of our local community.
We are looking for a full-time (preferred) team member who will have a good understanding and competence of current best practice in all general areas of podiatry care, to include nail surgery, swift, biomechanics, orthoses prescription and exercise rehabilitation. We also undertake nail reconstruction and bracing, training for which will be provided if not already experienced.
Your role will be to help the clinic grow into its next phase and transition caseload from the owner. You will also be comfortable engaging in our marketing activities such as social media, occasionally taking part in community events and spreading the word about our amazing profession. You will be enthusiastic about imparting our wisdom to the next generation of podiatrists - a vitally important process.
Work/life balance is extremely important to us. 5 days, but within that we can be flexible regarding working pattern. There is a noticeable co-creation theme in the team also - everyone contributes to decision making and building our dream clinic! We prioritise providing personalised, compassionate care that puts our patients' well-being first. We are committed to continuous learning and professional development, ensuring that we stay at the forefront of podiatry care.
Relocation Assistance ~ 5-day week. ~ get involved in local events and marketing activities ~ brand new, fresh, clean facilities, with 2 GP practices next door ~ onsite free parking, close to town amenities ~ branded uniform and onsite laundry ~ option of early start/later finish/weekends if desired ~ 6 weeks annual leave ~ wellness support with Health Assured.
Desired qualities: BSc (hons) podiatry minimum, with HCPC registration. Starting salary £36k-£45k depending on experience.
