The Geotechnical Sub Alliance (GSA) is at the forefront of the Sizewell C nuclear power station development - one of the UK’s largest and most exciting infrastructure programmes.

We’re responsible for preparing the foundations of the entire site: designing and constructing cut‑off walls, retaining structures, soil improvements and more.

Using advanced geotechnical engineering and world‑class construction technologies, this is a rare opportunity to contribute to a national project that will shape the UK’s clean‑energy future.

The Role

The purpose of the role is to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Project Management team.

The Project Administrator will be responsible for a broad range of administrative tasks e. g data collection and input.

  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Supporting the onboarding of employees
  • Assisting visitors with the necessary requirements
  • Supporting staff with accommodation bookings and travel as required
  • Organising and supporting with documentation
  • Maintain and update office notice boards with relevant information
  • Co‑ordinate with the internal training and competency team and relay training course requirements to site operatives
  • Maintain site registers for briefing attendance / H&S inductions if required
  • Act as the first point of call for the client’s Office Administrator
  • Responsible for ordering and distribution of Personal Protective Equipment for site team
  • Perform general office duties such as ordering office supplies
  • Data input from site activities to reports and records
  • Coordination with Site Management and Resources Team regarding staff and operative training schedule
  • General administration e. g photocopying, scanning, and filing
  • Booking meeting rooms
  • Ordering office supplies and stock check
  • Supporting Project Manager and Engineers with report writing/collection of data
  • Play an active part in the continuous improvement of administration processes and duties.
  • Any other tasks as required
  • What We’re Looking For
  • The ideal candidate must have a self‑driven attitude and show the ability to use his/her initiative for everyday tasks and be able to work well under pressure.
  • A thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Knowledge of document control systems preferable – Business Collaborator, PIM etc
  • Strong organisational, time management and workload prioritisation skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Work well within a team environment but also capable of working without supervision.
  • Enthusiastic and proactive with a willingness to learn.
  • Work well under pressure
  • Experience of office administration in a busy site office with a good knowledge and understanding of Administration duties.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly establish and maintain strong relationships across all levels.
  • To be resilient with a positive and confident approach.
