Overview
In this role you will support the global corporate FP&A function to drive growth and expense optimization within a complex, matrixed organization. You will partner with cross-functional teams to understand spending drivers, improve forecast accuracy, and communicate actionable insights to senior leadership. The position emphasizes data-driven decision making, continuous process improvement, and proactive risk and gap identification. This is a hands-on role that combines financial analysis with strategic perspective to influence resource allocation and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to analyse and manage expenses, providing actionable insights to drive cost efficiency and resource optimization
- Analyse monthly and quarterly spending across departments, understanding variance drivers and recommending actions
- Improve forecast accuracy by identifying cost drivers and updating assumptions
- Use the forecast to help function leaders make decisions and act early when spending is off track
- Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate financial results and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
- Proactively identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and risks in financial reporting and work with partners to resolve them
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, automating and streamlining financial processes
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
- Experience in financial analysis in a large, complex organization
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and comfort with large-scale data manipulation
- Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and manage projects with competing priorities
- Proven track record of taking ownership and increasing responsibility over time
