The Role Consultant within cap hpi Consulting
What You’ll Do
- Consultant will be responsible for managing and delivering consulting projects, innovation, and solution development, engaging with clients, and building client relationships, and supporting the sale of consulting services.
- Project work is very varied and will involve in-depth analysis, modelling, report writing, and presenting your ideas to colleagues and clients.
- Managing and delivering consulting projects:
- Overall project management and delivery of bespoke projects
- Agreeing specifications and deliverables with clients
- Ensuring the highest levels of quality and accuracy on projects.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders throughout the business
- Flexibility to deliver various projects concurrently, on time and to budget
- Develop strong relationships and stakeholder engagement across Solera businesses to bring knowledge and data assets into consulting projects.
- Support team to seek out innovative solutions to existing data assets; work with colleagues to develop commercial application of these assets.
- Build relationships with existing and new clients across the automotive sector and beyond.
- Support sales teams in building relationship with customers and acquisition of bespoke data projects.
- Scope out projects, assess requirements and agree solutions with customers.
- Work with colleagues to develop project pricing and establish delivery timescales.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong academic record in market intelligence, projects, people interaction and customer and client management, and/or Analytical business experience preferred, ideally with a working background in a role implementing data intelligence solutions or delivering data insights.
- Experience in collating, analysing large datasets, simplifying complex data to draw out key trends and recommendations
- Experience with data management tools an advantage; experience in data science and data management preferred.
Skills and Personal Qualities
- First-class strategic thinker, self-starter, strong entrepreneurial spirit, enjoys being challenged and challenging others.
- Good communication skills, verbal and written
- The ability to deal with people at all levels within a business up to and including Board level.
- Able to convince clients of consulting proposition and to develop solutions into sales.
- Organisational agility and credibility.
- Strong Analytical skills, ability to understand and manipulate large volumes of data and to draw out key trends and recommendations
- Ability to work within a high performing team
- Sees solutions rather than obstacles, a positive can-do attitude.
Qualifications and Experience
- Automotive industry exposure – desirable
- Experience level – typically 2 years in analytics, BI, or data-focused consulting.
- Visualisation & communication – proficiency in Power BI/Tableau and clear stakeholder storytelling.
- Core Technical Skills: strong excel, SQL knowledge
- Experience with data management tools an advantage; Salesforce
- Strong presentation skills, including development of presentations (PowerPoint skills).
