The Role
The Sales Account Executive is responsible for driving new business growth by selling merchant card processing and payment solutions to small and mid-sized businesses. This role focuses on prospecting, closing new accounts, and meeting or exceeding assigned revenue targets while delivering a strong customer experience.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect and acquire new merchant clients within assigned territory or vertical.
- Present and sell Peri by Solera payment processing solutions.
- Build, manage, and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities.
- Conduct needs assessments and recommend tailored solutions.
- Negotiate pricing and close new business to meet or exceed quota.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, and forecast data in Salesforce CRM.
- Partner with onboarding and support teams for successful implementations.
- Stay current on industry trends and competitive offerings.
What You’ll Bring
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience.
- Experience in merchant card processing, payment solutions, or financial services preferred.
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Existing network Merchant clients.
