We are seeking an exceptional Principal Software Engineer to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of complex, high-impact engineering solutions.
What You'll do:
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high‐performance software solutions.
- Apply advanced concepts, patterns, and best practices in object‐oriented software design and distributed systems.
- Provide deep technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching to engineers across multiple teams.
- Manage and prioritize multiple initiatives while ensuring high‐quality delivery.
- Own end‐to‐end solutions as part of an Agile SCRUM team, including test automation and quality engineering practices.
- Partner with product owners and engineering leaders to define technical direction, new features, and long‐term roadmap.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, grooming, demos, retrospectives).
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, design specs, and implementation guides.
- Take technical ownership of the most challenging and critical engineering initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with Java-based technologies.
- Strong experience designing and implementing relational database solutions.
- Demonstrated experience with Web Services and Serialization (JSON, SOAP, REST, XML).
- Knowledge of application servers.
- Expertise in writing optimized and scalable database queries.
- Experience architecting and developing enterprise‐grade web applications.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively as a senior technical leader within engineering teams.
