The Role
The Associate General Counsel (AGC) is a senior member of the Solera Legal team responsible for providing creative, practical, and businessâoriented legal counsel across a broad range of commercial, corporate, compliance, and operational matters. This leader will serve as a trusted advisor to executives and crossâfunctional teams, with a particular focus on supporting Soleraâs Fleet businesses.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to ensure contracts align with new product launches, enhancements, and technical requirements.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills in executiveâlevel presentations, negotiations, and dayâtoâday counseling.
- 15+ years of legal experience with substantial background in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements; inâhouse and supervisory experience required.
- Experience advising HR on employment law matters, including responding to EEOC and other agency complaints or investigations.
- Familiarity with consumer credit, financial services, and consumer protection laws (GLBA, CCPA, TCPA, FCRA) is a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex legal issues into practical, businessâfocused advice for nonâlegal stakeholders.
- Highly responsive, serviceâoriented approach with the ability to influence and support leaders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastâpaced environment.
- Strong judgment and the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives.
