We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Facilities Assistant to join our Estates team.
As a Facilities Assistant you will have day to day contact with staff, students and visitors across a range of facilities related areas. Your role will be to undertake a number of tasks and to answer queries – these include recycling, waste management, storage, postal services, furniture moves and set ups, system testing, parking, security, minor maintenance, all of these with a laser focus on campus standards.
You will carry out these duties and other tasks related to the operation and security of University premises. You will be part of a team of FM staff, working within a shift pattern that operates on a 3 week cycle that includes working one Saturday in 3 and attracts a 10% shift allowance.
The successful applicant should have experience of working in a customer service environment, ideally with some facilities or premises experience.A valid UK driving licence would be beneficial.
