An opportunity has arisen to be part of the University's Academic Registry within the Curriculum team in Academic Registry, as a Quality and Curriculum Officer on a fixed term basis, with a potential to extend further. The role is to work with the team to provide an efficient service for the set-up and processing of curriculum related tasks to support changes coming into effect as part of the new curriculum offering Solent Future Learning under the wider University Strategy 2035.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the accuracy of module curriculum data presented within the student record systems (SITS).
- Focus on module creation, setting module diets, and data maintenance.
- Provide proactive and efficient administrative support to achieve the accuracy and completeness of the University's course records.
- Work with colleagues within the Centre for Quality Assurance and wider Academic Registry, as well as advise academic and professional support service staff on activities relating to curriculum activities and functions.
Qualifications / Skills
- The ideal candidate will have proven organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to work to a high standard with a keen eye for detail.
- Previous working knowledge of SITS is desirable.
