About the Role:

We are looking for a permanent Lecturer in Social Work to join a dedicated team across our successful Social Work suite of courses. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of the Social Work landscape and be able to contribute to the continued success of this subject area across undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective and innovative development and delivery of Social Work related modules across the School's portfolio and help ensure enhancement of the student experience and student employability.

The Lecturer in Social Work role is a permanent part time position, and it is expected that this person will support the strategic direction of the University and School and will be expected to lead by example within the TEF/REF/KEF environments. The university is driven to ensure our students are ‘Future Ready’, so the successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate a student-focused approach and ensure student successes are demonstrable across all OfS metrics within this subject area.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Lecturer in Social Work to join our dynamic team at Southampton Solent University.
