About the role
We are looking for a Communications and Marketing Lead to support the day-to-day delivery of Solent Mind’s content, communications and marketing activity. Working closely with the Head of Communications, Fundraising and Marketing, you will help us be an active voice for mental health across Hampshire and strengthen engagement with the people, communities and partners we work with.
You will manage and create content across our website, social media, email marketing, print, events and video channels. You will also coordinate incoming communications and marketing requests, develop monthly content plans, support campaigns, manage analytics reporting and work with freelancers, agencies and suppliers where needed.
About you
You will have experience in marketing and communications, with the ability to manage social media, email campaigns and websites. You will be confident creating clear, engaging content for different audiences and will understand how to use brand guidelines, data and insight to improve communications and marketing activity.
You will be organised, collaborative and able to manage competing priorities while taking responsibility for your own work. You will bring strong copywriting, design, digital marketing, social media, website maintenance and SEO skills, alongside excellent communication and IT skills.
We would also welcome experience of supervising staff or volunteers, working with people with mental health needs, partnership working, video editing, Canva, Mailchimp, Sked Social and an understanding of mental health services or lived experience of mental health issues.
