This role involves supervising and line managing a group of PWPs whilst maintaining a reduced clinical caseload, under the guidance of the Hub Lead PWP. You will have opportunities to explore your areas of interest and contribute to the ongoing development of our service through Special Interest Groups, projects, and working groups.
We are looking for an experienced Qualified PWP who is looking to progress their career within Step 2 of NHS Talking Therapies. Our ideal candidate will:
- Enjoy coaching others and able to communicate clearly, especially in complex or sensitive situations.
- Adapt to changes in the service and help your team overcome challenges.
- Have a thorough understanding of clinical practice at Step 2 and confident in ability to make clinical decisions.
The NHS Talking Therapies Hampshire service is provided within the stepped care model in partnership with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. PWPs are employed by Solent Mind to deliver low intensity support (step 2).
Solent Mind is the largest mental health charity in Hampshire, supporting over 48,000 people with mental health interventions annually. It is part of a network of 125 local Minds in England and Wales, which are independent charities affiliated to Mind, the national mental health charity. Solent Mind has its own Board of Trustees and raises its own funds to deliver its services, support and training tailored to the needs of people living in Hampshire, Southampton, Portsmouth, and the Isle of Wight. Solent Mind has a Gold award for Workplace Wellbeing Index 2022/2023 and has signed up to be a Mindful Employer.
