The predicted salary is between 38682 - 46580 £ per year.

Salary: £38,682 per annum, rising to £40,823 after two years in service, and £46,580 after a further 3 years of service (Equivalent to NHS Band 6)

Location: Basingstoke, Gosport, or Eastleigh, combined with some home working. Please specify your preferred location in your application form.

About the role

This role involves supervising / line managing a group of PWPs whilst maintaining a reduced clinical caseload, under the guidance of the Hub Lead PWP. You will have opportunities to explore your areas of interest and contribute to the ongoing development of our service through Special Interest Groups, projects, and working groups.

We have vacancies in Gosport, Eastleigh, and Basingstoke; please let us know which locations you would be able to consider in your personal statement. We do not have any vacancies in our fully remote team, but we do offer hybrid working with a minimum of two days a week in the office.

About you

You are an experienced Qualified PWP who is looking to progress your career within Step 2 of NHS Talking Therapies. You have a thorough understanding of clinical practice at Step 2 and are confident in your ability to make clinical decisions.

You enjoy coaching others and can communicate clearly, especially in complex or sensitive situations. You adapt to changes in the service and help your team overcome associated challenges.

The NHS Talking Therapies Hampshire service is provided in partnership by Solent Mind and the Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. Psychological wellbeing practitioners are employed by Solent Mind to deliver low intensity support at step 2 of the stepped care model.

It is part of a network of 125 local Minds in England and Wales, which are independent charities affiliated to Mind, the national mental health charity.
