Deliver Peer Support throughout local communities in partnership with NHS colleagues, enhancing mental health care across Primary and Secondary services. Support people in one‑to‑one and group settings, managing your own caseload to aid recovery and help access services and resources. Support people to develop and use a range of skills and techniques that promote wellbeing, providing short‑term goal‑focused support that empowers individuals to take control of their own recovery.
You will bring your own lived experience of mental health challenges to support others on their recovery journey. You will have a good understanding of mental health services, as well as awareness of wider community groups and organisations. Strong time-management and teamwork skills are essential, along with confident, practical computer skills.
