Fareham and Gosport Wellbeing service is looking to recruit a wellbeing coach to work with young persons aged 11-25 years. The Wellbeing Coach will be employed by Solent Mind as part of the Wellbeing project and will be located within the Coastal PCN (comprising Brook Lane, Lockswood and Stubbington surgeries). The Wellbeing Coach will see patients aged 11-25 on an individual basis and will carry out assessments and deliver 1-1 sessions to help younger people improve their mental wellbeing and build resilience.
You will need to have a good understanding of mental health in younger persons, as well as experience of working with people with mental health needs, excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of the key difficulties and challenges faced by people on their recovery journey.
