24 or 30 hours per week Community venues across Hampshire and Southampton (locality-based deployment to minimise travel).

About the role

Our new service Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) Hampshire will launch on 01 July 2026. This service will be delivered across Hampshire and Southampton. We are looking for 3 Practitioners (2x 24h per week and 1x 30 hours per week) to deliver high-quality, person-centred Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) groups for people living with mild to moderate dementia.

  • Supervise some volunteers
  • Co‑facilitate 14‑week closed CST programmes
  • Support referral triage and onboarding
  • Record outcomes
  • Work in close partnership with carers, Memory Assessment Services (MAS), Older People’s Community Mental Health Teams (OPCMHTs) and other referrers
  • May be required to work some Saturdays depending on the service need

About you

As a CST Practitioner, you will have experience supporting people living with dementia and/or older adults with cognitive impairment in a community, health or social care setting. You will have a good understanding of adult safeguarding and the ability to recognise, respond to, and appropriately escalate concerns.

  • Demonstrate skills in group facilitation and engaging individuals with varying communication needs
  • Strong communication skills, ability to build rapport with a range of stakeholders
  • Manage challenging situations calmly, work independently, and collaborate effectively as part of a team
  • Maintain accurate records and confidently use IT systems and CRM tools for case management and reporting
