Established in 2008, we import a range of 80+ superfoods direct from growers around the world and sell them under our own brands, in bulk, direct to consumers via Retailers/Amazon and as private label. We are on a mission to make healthy eating easier, to make a meaningful social impact and to become the leading superfood business.
GO Superfoods is looking for an organised and proactive Production Planner to manage production scheduling and inventory planning for our European market. You will be responsible for working closely with our EU co-packers, ensuring the right stock is available at the right time to meet customer demand while maintaining efficiency and cost control. This role sits within our Planning team and collaborates closely with Procurement, Production, Sales, and Logistics to ensure smooth end-to-end operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule production with co-packers based on stock levels, demand, and MOQS
- Use Excel tools to track inventory and arrange shipments to FBA EU fulfilment centres
- Maintain accurate production orders and batch allocations in SAP
- Update demand forecasts and flag any risks, opportunities and stock-related issues
- Ensure production is delivered on time and in full (OTIF)
- Support with SAP tasks like stock transfers and batch tracking
- Communicate schedule changes across teams clearly and promptly
- Suggest improvements to processes and help fix recurring issues
- Work to the philosophy of 'One Plan'
- Provide cover for other team members during holidays or projects
- Responsible for managing UK & EU co-packers and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships
Skills And Qualifications Required:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field (Desirable)
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement tools
- Previous experience in a Production Planning or Scheduling role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong with numbers, problem-solving skills, and data analysis
- Advanced Excel, Power BI skills and comfortable using ERP systems like SAP
- Ability to work under pressure - Think Critically Under Pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
- A team player with clear communication skills
- Keen to learn, take initiative, and solve problems
- Able to see the bigger picture and understand how planning impacts other parts of the business
- Analytical approach to working, with a high attention to detail
- Be teachable, can learn and absorb knowledge
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
