Solent Construction Recruitment Ltd are working with a respected client delivering high-end bespoke residential new build projects across the A3 corridor. We are seeking an experienced Project / Site Manager who genuinely gets building; someone who understands how things should be built, not just how they look on a programme or spreadsheet. This role would suit an individual who may be fed up with excessive red tape and box-ticking, and instead wants to focus on quality delivery, sensible planning, and well-run sites.
The Role:
- Oversee day-to-day site operations on high-end residential projects
- Manage subcontractors and direct labour
- Ensure works are delivered to a high standard of quality
- Monitor and manage site budgets and costs
- Understand and control site finances, variations, and labour spend
- Programme works and report progress to directors/clients
- Maintain strong client-facing communication
- Ensure H&S compliance and smooth site operations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager / Project Manager
- Strong understanding of residential construction from groundworks through to completion
- Financial awareness of site costs, labour, and budgets
- Ability to plan works realistically and efficiently
- Confident communicator with clients and trades
- Passion for delivering quality builds
