An exciting new opportunity has opened at the Isle of Wight’s go-to furniture stores! We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Management Accountant to join our team and help us maintain accurate financial records which empower the management team for strategic decision‑making.
Your key duties & responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Oversee all aspects of financial management.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and maintain up-to-date records.
- Weekly reports on payable invoices to management.
- Monitor and reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and other financial accounts.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and assist with annual accounts preparation.
What we are looking for:
- Experience as a bookkeeper or management accountant.
- Relevant certification (e.g., AAT Level 4) is desirable but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online accounting software, and MS Office (especially Excel).
