We’re looking for a Process Automation & Control Engineer to join our newly established European Engineering Hub, playing a pivotal role in delivering automation projects across the UK and Europe.
If you’re passionate about cutting-edge control systems and leading impactful projects across industries like chemical, pharma, oil & gas, or FMCG, this is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of automation in a growing, international team.
What You’ll Do
- Lead full lifecycle automation and Distributed Control System (DCS) projects across EMEA – from design to commissioning.
- Act as the technical authority on major projects, ensuring safety, quality, and cost standards are met.
- Collaborate with site teams, vendors, and leadership to drive project success.
- Support plant operations with system improvements, alarm reviews, and issue resolution.
- Travel occasionally for commissioning and site visits; hybrid working (2–3 days/week on site) with flexibility during key project phases.
What You’ll Bring
- Degree in Electrical or Control Engineering (or equivalent).
- Strong background in automation and control systems, especially DCS.
- Proven project leadership experience with excellent communication and stakeholder skills.
- Solid knowledge of control philosophy, instrumentation, and process manufacturing environments.
