We are pleased to go to market for a new Key Account Manager. This is a full-time, permanent field-based role covering Scotland. As a Key Account Manager, you will be customer focused and results driven. You will strive to expand market sales across Scotland. You will look to explore and develop sales opportunities with existing customers, whilst at the same time look to develop openings with new customers within the water treatment sector. You will draw upon your previous experience to promote and grow the Solenis brand and our product offerings.
What You Will Be Doing
- Developing business strategies and creating development plans for relevant area to reach required business objectives and revenue.
- Working closely with extended commercial team (i.e. Corporate Accounts, Regional Marketing, Pricing, and Applications) to understand business requirements and market needs.
- Establishing, maintaining and prioritising an accurate and current sales funnel.
- Managing profitability of the account. Reviewing territory applications and processes/procedures for safety improvements.
- Achieving customer satisfaction resulting in optimal retention of existing business and growth of new business.
- Maintaining and developing customer relations with new and existing customers.
What You'll Bring
- Extensive account management experience with a bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry/chemical or science related subject.
- Sales experience in the Water treatment industry is a distinct advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a true service attitude.
- This is a field-based role and frequent travel will be required. The successful candidate must have a valid full driving license.
