Job opportunity: Global Trade Compliance Specialist
Location: Flexible/Remote, could be Poland, UK or Romania
Travel: within EU 5-10%
Are you an experienced customs compliance professional with a passion for international trade? Do you have a strong background in tariff code classification, export controls, and customs regulations? We’re looking for a Global Trade Compliance Specialist to join our team and help drive compliance across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve Complex Customs Compliance Issues: Analyze and resolve customs compliance challenges, providing practical and compliant solutions to management and business partners.
  • Expertise in Tariff Code Classification & Export Controls: Ensure accurate classification and compliance with country of origin determination and export controls.
  • Project Participation & Audits: Contribute to Global Trade Compliance projects and lead or support audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Compliance Inquiries: Respond to queries from internal teams, import/export agents, and customs brokers across various regions.
  • Data Analysis & Recovery Claims: Gather and analyze data for the submission of recovery claims related to customs compliance.
  • Training & Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training sessions on global trade compliance topics to ensure best practices across the organization.
What You Bring
  • 3-5+ years of experience in customs compliance, with a focus on tariff classification, export controls, and country of origin determination.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with SAP and Global Trade Management systems.
  • Proven ability to navigate customs regulations and resolve complex compliance issues.
  • Ability to work in a multinational company with a remote, cross-functional team.
  • Customs-related certifications (e.g., licensed customs broker) are a plus.
