Packaging Operative Location: Low Moor, Bradford. Shift: 3 on / 3 off days – 10am to 10pm.
Responsibilities
- Permit assessing and acceptance to ensure safe operations
- Troubleshooting Form Fill & Seal (FFS) equipment issues
- Delivering reactive maintenance to maximise plant reliability and uptime
- Operating confidently within the FFS menu, controls, and data systems
- Packing containers as required
- Supporting warehouse operations, including Flexi‑truck driving
- Maintaining excellent 5S standards and safety compliance
- Using SAP for labelling and process order management
- Flexibility to support the main warehouse when needed
- Collecting pallets across site using HGV / tramming equipment
Qualifications
- NVQ or equivalent in packing lines or basic engineering
- 3 GCSEs (English, Maths, Science) or equivalent
- Experience in a chemical or similar manufacturing environment
- Computer literacy
- Ability to pass a forklift truck test
- Physical capability for manual tasks
