We’re looking for a motivated and technically strong TCS Team Leader to support, coach and develop our regional engineering team while delivering high-quality technical service to our customers within South and Southwest of England. If you’re passionate about training others, solving problems on-site and raising technical standards, this role gives you the platform to lead from the front.
As the TCS Team Leader, you’ll split your time between field work (minimum 50%) and team leadership, ensuring our engineers deliver service excellence every day. You’ll coach and mentor the team, support new starters, cascade knowledge on new equipment, and work closely with the TCS Engineering Manager to drive performance and consistency. You’ll also play a key role in technical issue resolution, training delivery, remote diagnostics adoption, and managing vanstock levels to keep our operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach and set standards for the TCS engineering team
- Deliver training to engineers, office teams, sales teams, contractors and customers
- Support new starter induction and ongoing development
- Complete field service work for at least half of your working time
- Work with Planning and Equipment teams to maximise efficiency and ensure up-to-date technical information
- Align resources to meet goals, targets and service expectations
- Create clear engineering briefs for rollouts and ensure full understanding across the team
