About Our Apprenticeship Programme
Our award-winning Apprenticeship programme is offering a variety of apprenticeship opportunities for applicants to kick start their career within the Chemical Industry. We offer an extensive training package including practical experience, skills, and theoretical knowledge.
What do Process Manufacturing Technicians do:
- Control and monitor a process or plant and equipment, effectively, efficiently and securely, and resolve problems or correct abnormal conditions.
- Complete documentation relevant to the manufacturing process.
- Work safely in a science manufacturing environment.
- Understand and follow quality procedures.
- Participate in continuous performance improvement projects.
What you will need to apply:
- 5 GCSE's including Maths, English, and a Science subject grade 4-9 or equivalent standard (predicted or actual).
- A positive attitude towards safe working, excellent IT skills, effective communication skills and the ability to follow procedures with a methodical approach.
- The ability to solve problems in a timely manner, and to stay calm in difficult situations.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work as part of a team.
- To be self-driven and have an enthusiastic approach to work as well as the desire to succeed.
