This permanent role is fully inhouse and will play a pivotal role in the company Management team. The Role The successful candidate will be a proactive and experienced HR professional who is able to support the company with all operational HR duties. The role will oversee all aspects of HR, ensuring that the company policies, programs, and practices support their strategic goals and foster a positive workplace culture. HR Responsibilities * Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. * Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, and retention. * Manage employee relations, providing guidance and support on workplace matters. * Coach and guide Managers on all HR matters and in line with HR Policy. * Ensure compliance with UK employment laws and regulations. * Drive performance management processes and support professional development programs. * Administer compensation, benefits, and HR systems to support organisational goals. * Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organisation. * Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on HR trends, challenges, and best practices. * Work with external legal advisors on any unresolved HR Matters. HSE Responsibilities * Liaise with external Occupational Health provider for any referrals, managing adaptions as per recommendations received. * Ensure new starters are inducted and fully trained in company H&S practices. * Co-ordinate and implement DSE assessments for new starters and existing staff, taking any appropriate action. * Manage HSE audit once per year for the company, referring to external HSE provider as required for guidance and additional support. What We’re Looking For * Qualifications: CIPD Level 5 or above * Experience: 3 years generalist HR experience. Strong Operational HR experience. * Skills: * Strong understanding of HR policies, employment laws, and best practices. * Very organised and methodical with HR Document Control. * Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with key stakeholders * Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism. * Proficiency in HRIS and other relevant systems. * Attributes: Proactive, solutions-oriented, and committed to fostering a positive work environment.
