Veolia ANZ are looking for an Operations Manager who will be responsible for the day to day on-site operations and maintenance of the Cambridge depot to meet the requirements of the Operations, Agreements and the Company Objectives. This is a permanent full-time position based in Cambridge 7170, and will have a strong focus on actively communicating the business strategy to ensure and coach staff on its implementation.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • The day to day operations of our commercial services businesses
  • Drive performance to ensure optimal business performance
  • Ensure that all compliance and statutory regulations, OHS, environmental and public health objectives are met
  • Convene and record internal and client Operations Management meetings on a monthly basis
  • Provide day to day leadership to the Operations team
  • Ensure that all employees are adequately qualified, trained and experienced to perform their duties in a safe, competent and responsible manner
  • Have a thorough understanding of relevant legislation to facilitate efficient operations and ensure statutory requirements are complied with

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Previous experience in a similar management role
  • Advanced Diploma/Diploma of Business or equivalent workplace experience
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Experience or qualifications in Waste Management
